Adjacent to the Main Lodge is an open-air, furnished with every modern comfort, yet of luxury ethnic design – the perfect spot for an early morning coffee, an afternoon or sunset cocktail, and even a pre-or-post dinner social drink.

THE LODGE

Our main lodge is as expansive as it is spacious. A welcoming open-air reception area borders onto a large thatched roof dining room, that allows its full height glass framed doors to fully slide open, revealing an inviting outdoor dining deck. With views out over a large infinity-view swimming pool, this is a wonderful space to enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast or a light lunch.
Adjacent is an open-air lounge, stylishly furnished with every modern comfort in luxury ethnic design – the perfect spot for an early morning coffee, an afternoon or sunset cocktail, and even a pre-or-post dinner social drink.

THE BOMAS

Muluwa Lodge proudly features two incredible outdoor dinner dining facilities. The main lodge “Boma” follows the round and protective shape of a traditional African village, and lies under an incredible feature tree – probably with many a story to tell from times gone by and new memories to be had, around the log fire at night!
The Tented Camp Boma is an enormous wooden deck, built out over a large granite rock, in a way that absorbs the sights and smells of the African bush, whilst offering a spectacular view across the surrounding hills and valleys.
Each Boma area features a centralised fire place for ambiance and winter warmth, and a chef’s station that prepares those famous African barbeque meals.

THE PROPERTY

Muluwa Lodge is located inside the Likweti Bushveld Farm Estate, a truly beautiful piece of Africa. This 765 Hectare bush estate is home to free roaming “plains game” such as Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala, Kudu, Nyala, Warthog and an incredible variety of birdlife.
Large granite hills are a main feature of the topography, providing natural viewpoints for spectacular sunrises and sunsets, and a network of dirt roads meander throughout, calling on nature enthusiasts to explore on foot or on mountain bikes.
